La Cher Courier-(For Myra)

You’re a little red book
bound in silver threads

curly golden fonts
on honey- linen sheets

heart drops and rain bells
that fall and ring to ear-

We starve to inhale your
breath of tangerine-

silent wind of lingual charm
seethe to itchy eyes,

mystery potions
from adoring hands

the hushed symbols
that birth a hidden need

Voices from the Lord~
till
we smile
and believe.

Author notes

Dedicated to myrataal (Myra Lochner) whose prolific writing has awakened the artful and needy hearts of many people in a way that only suggests divine sources! Thank you for your arduous and faithful visions taken to paper! You're a prophetic psalmist who wonderfully twines a reader's need and defines poetry.

    Dearest Dianne --

Once again I read this precious poem, and once again I know the purity of Love from whence it came.

To be described by you is to enjoy the kindess of the Lord. Look at this example! I love this poem. SO sensuous and loving.

One could hardly read a truer word written and never more beautifully stated than this.
Like the subject that inspired it I would say. But that would only be half the truth. It is the writer who fulfills its promise of delightful beauty and admiration.
Add to that a comment ;that could have stood on its own as weel as it is complementing to the piece and one can add a delightful read to this conquering formula.

I love how you give us your sensory perseption of her...showing us a book, its pages, its layers, this is a really good poem and for Myra, so very fitting.

She is indeed inspired, and inspiration.

Dearest Dianne ... Sorry I get here so late ... This is so beautiful, so tender and so special, that I am shedding tears of sheer love, humbleness and joy. I am connected to you, and some other poets on this website, in a godly manner - I know that. It is a golden thread that binds us together ... Sometimes my heart longs to be with you all, to hug you and to hold you. In the soul we are all part of a holy family ... and we need to bring the other lonely and whithered and cold souls in ... to His glorification!

Thank you, and for the other poets that commented, for all your compassion and love. It carries me through every day. One day we will all meet in a special Realm in perfect unification ...

You are a talented and blessed Poetess.

    Love.

    Myra
