revenge is sweet

Everyone wanted to touch her.
Expose themselves to some bravery.
She only did what she had to do,
seduction can be very persuasive.
She knew she had the goods
but did she have the guts?

She walked to his tent with trepidation
Smelling like fresh cut blossoms.
Skin glistening and as soft as cashmere.
He wouldn't(couldn't) resist.
All her feminine wiles were on full alert,
through every moment she cringed inside.

Her heart shriveled whenever she remembered
the atrocities he brought on her family.
Revenge is ever satisfying.
She vowed she would have it.

Soon it was over, the despicable session
of pleasuring the enemy.
She was confident she had lulled him
into letting his walls down.
She played her part to the hilt.

She handed him a glass of blood red wine,
laced with a cruelly effective poison.
He drank and she smiled in her heart.
Knowing soon he'd be writhing in pain.
He started to gasp, she outright laughed
whispering in his ear.
Women can be as full of deceit
as well as charm and loveliness.

I hope you rest easy in Hell.
Like the prison i've been dealing with
since you executed my family.
Lie in everlasting unrest you dog.
For none deserve death greater than you.
Then she kissed him with poison on her lips
and walked away head held high,
heart strangely lighter.

this is an interesting take on the prompt and could be expanded into a great prose or short story.

Wow this is a great piece...I love it! The detail and imagery are superb, as is the flow. You have done a great job, very creative work. Only one small thing...the sentence..
'the atrocities her brought on her family.'
I think you mean he? As it doesn't quite read right. Other than that...flawless, well done and good luck in the contest
