Salute!

White grape
silvers sweet smiles

pressing life together.

Crystal within our time tasted

I could taste this one as I read it.

I love what you did with the prompt, Pamela. I really loved the alliteration in the second line. I recently wrote a couple of sea poems using this form. My comfort zone has been free verse and haiku, so I'm trying to branch out more with form poetry. I'm thinking of trying out an etheree next.

Thank you for such a lovely comment. I had forgotten about this one. So pleased you enjoyed. I will have to get by your page as I get caught up here and look forward to reading your Cinquain. It is a nice form. Etheree is as well and I think you will find yourself enjoying that one as well.
Thank you again dear soul. Much appreciated. ~Pamela

You did a fine job here of weaving natural grapes, wine and the essence of life and love together, and I can only echo my co-judge's assessment of this very charming cinquain. The syllable count is perfect and I like the way you've played with line breaks, as well allowed each line to make a statement all on its own. A very fine entry indeed - salute!

Thank you for entering this love poem.

I like the use of alliteration; it really ties these lines together.

    Best of luck.

I love white grapes. I love the way they look. I love the soft, almost onyx gleam and the 'sweat' that always seems to sort of glob off of them and sit on them. They make me want to become a wino. Not only have you brought out the beauty of this, to me, noble fruit, you have described human emotion the tiny pieces of life which make it pretty neat sometimes. This is excellent and charming. I salute you.

Thank you for entering this beautiful poetry in the contest. peace ,,,Moqui
