a teenage couple is cruising fast down a busy two lane highway.
they roar down the road. when the bike hits the speed of 90, the girlfriend shouts over the noise of the motor "tom, slow down!!!".
tom tells her" don't worry, everything will be fine." the bike hits the speed of 110, and the girl screams," tom, i mean it!" tom replies" jeez, calm down,i have never been in an accident, ever, it's not going to happen now!!" the bike's speed hits 140mph, the girl is holding on so tight to tom , that it's almost like they're one person. tom , who is 18, says" june, i just tried to brake, and i can't" june replies "what?!?!?" tom says " take off my helmet and put it on yourself." june replies " no, if you go , so do i." " june, no, take my helmet, and hug me one last time." june takes his helmet, and holds on to tom tighter than ever before. the bike is now flying down the road at a speed of 300mph. june, now has tears streaming down her face. tom looks at june through the sideveiw mirror, and then pats her leg, saying" june, there is a box in my pocket take it out, and put on the contents, and then give me an answer." june takes the box out of tom's front pocket, but is afraid that she'll drop it, so she puts it in her own pocket. tom asks" june, will you----" just then, a semi changes lanes , tom's harley has no brakes and the bike , june, and tom, crash into the semi-truck. june blacks out. when she comes to, there are police cars, ambulances, fire engines, and tow trucks galore. the lights are blinding. her body is sore. she's on a gurney, near an ambulance. her family, is not there...they don't even know that she was just in an accident, but what june doesn't know, is the where-abouts of her boyfriend, tom. she looks around heself, and she doesn't see tom . then she looks behind herself, and lying there on a gurney, is a bloody tom. then she loses it. she start trembling, and sobbing. her head is throbbing really bad, but all she can think of is about tom. then she remembers the box that he gave her. june takes the box out of her mangled jeans. she opens the box to see a shimmering diamond engagment ring. then she realizes the question that she is supposed to answer. she gets up off the gurney, and walks over to tom. every step brings her a sunami of pain. she stands at tom's bedside. june takes tom's mangled hands , in her own. she leans into tom's ear, and whispers " yes, yes tom, yes.". then tom's swollen eyes open just a bit, and he says " june?..." he sounds like he is in so much pain. "y- y- yes?", stutters june. " i- i- i'm so so sorry. there was nothing that i - could do." june's eyes water, " i know, i know." says june trying her best to appear calm, and hold back another wave of tears. then, tom starts to shake. he is going inot shock. he has lost alot of blood. before the paramedics could even get to him, ...tom , was gone.
he went riding in the clouds.....
