etched in the dusk’s breast
the albumen pearls testify - the love
I moor fragments of my fantasy with
mangled within the strings of lunacy,
my heart weaves a secret desire
to garner all the dreams
…in the kaleidoscope of life
~with you
just a mere thought of you
seeps the blushing wine in my capillaries
and seams my frayed heart
…in a knitting of orchid caress
Oh! I wish…
~to lock you for eternity
in the carpels of beating amaranth
hemmed in by my ribs
inside the cradle of my dreams
i begged the oceans
to unfurl my love in letters
b u t…
the reality shadowed my imagination
and left me…
…with an endless moist on my lashes…

I usually don't like freeverse, but I must say that this BLEW ME AWAY! I absolutely loved it. The imagery you used was perfect and beautiful and it really flowed like a poem instead of a letter or story as most freeverse sounds to me. Thank you for entering my contest!
