The ceiling covers my blanket of stars
and moonlit drapes to block out the searing sun
that comes with the murderous drag of daylight,
where I sit, in the depths of my room,
staring at the various methods of death strewn before me
on sheets marked with claret stains.
The knife leers boisterously at me,
while the drugs look too sweet and pretty to kill.
I told you the night before;
"There's gonna be an accident".
I stared, enchanted by the gun before me.
Two loaded bullets, just in case I missed.
I had two options really,
save one bullet for you..
or just take them both to my head and let you live
forever riddled with guilt?
I felt bad for thinking that.
I still love you.
....
I told you the night before;
"There's gonna be an accident".
And so, in light of my love and the blood you made pour from my heart,
I leave this deadly time bomb we call life
in an explosion of darkness and fear
to rest in a place where love doesn't exist.
Remember how I laughed with you
while you sat and relayed off a list of all the girls whose lives you'd made hell,
who you'd made miserable?
You missed a name.
The one person who's stood by you even though you hurt me beyond belief,
the person who's stuck by your side
through thick and thicker,
to cheer you up no matter what,
and you forget me.
I told you that night;
"There's gonna be an accident".

Fascinating.
"in light of my love and the blood you made pour from my heart, I leave this deadly time bomb we call life" = That has a lot of meaning.
I hope you are OK. Glad, you get to release some things & share them with us as poetry.
