Tick
Tock
Tick
TOck
I lie,
Waiting,
For the phone to ring,
I just want to hear
The Ring-ring
Of the phone
That's sitting next to me.
Just so I can hear your voice,
Because it's so sweet,
And you make me feel so wonderful.
But then,
I start to cry,
Tears streaming down my face,
In tiny rivers,
Because I know the phone won't ring,
I know I won't hear your voice,
Because you're gone,
And there's nothing I can do,
I'll never hear your voice again,
You're gone, Forever,
And the tears stream down my face.

There is a wonderfully magical yet sad tone to this one as it splashes across the page here. Thank you for sharing and best wishes to you. Keep that pen handy dear poet.
