Spirit broken,
Repair unknown.
Irreversible damage,
written in stone?
Staircase spiraling,
deeper each day.
Towards light or dark,
up or down, which way?

Bravo!
Spoken from a place of experience. Aptly depicts the struggle of life's uncertainty & feelings of inadequacy! You can depict very intense aspects of life in short verse very well. Glad you got a trophy, it was deserved!

Congratulations.
You did write a most honorable piece. You know we can take the honorable mentions and believe in the definitions of the word. Honorable in that the words you wrote are in fact an honor. This is one of those poems. -
Wonderful
Very well done. Best of luck in the contest.
