[Haiku to a spoon]

Haiku to a Spoon:
Obscured light beaming.
Random reflections of silver.
You always shine bright.

When my gaze is set,
I’m upside down in your eyes.
I’ll turn you around.

I should be right, yet
I’m distorted in your eye,
And you look away.


I fill you deeply.
Each kiss you’re left empty.
What am I left with?

I always wash you!
Make sure you are beautiful!
Then put you to bed.

You used to be great!
You won’t even speak to me.
Very childish.

I push you away,
and you are not beside me.
You are now empty.

You gaze around you.
Looking at everything else.
Acting like I’m gone.

You now aren’t so bright.
Your shiny exterior is
quite boring and dull.

I see things clearly.
It was only for a night.
To you I am gone.

I look at you still.
Disgusted and so sorry.
You are now sullied…
