Leaves in the corner
dessicated, uniform
wind blown rustling
protecting a world of life
insects create a city

you managed to put MY thoughts into words and thereby make them come alive [and in very few words]It is often that I think or speak out that what lives in the ground below us or up in the trees above us......is not only a city, but it is that which we are.....a species of existence that lives a life not unlike us, more than likely even a more organised and sophisticated one. It is a culture...it is a nation. Unfortunately we feel at freedom to destroy it, simply because we believe that we are that of higher intelligence. In comparison to insect, fauna or other animal....we are the lesser. Once again...I love the way you look at things. I have spent many of times just observing an ant colony and always walk away amazed. Seems as if maybe you have done the same thing. Once again...form will not be critiqued by me....but message will and it desrves a standing ovation

    Good job

I like this poem, the ideas behind it. It is multilayered and interesting. Keep up the great work.

    Very Interesting

I'm not used to such short writes, but you really know how to say and show so much in just a few lines. Something so minor to the eye, can indeed mean so much to something else. Thanks for the thinker
