WE BEEN TO LONG WITHOUT YOU AND THE YEARS FLY BY,

MOTHER, YOU ARE THE GLOW THAT GUIDE US THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES,
LEADING US IN THE PATH OF EVERYTHING RIGHT.
WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH THESE DAYS,
IT HURTS INSIDE, EVEN AT PLAY.
OUR LAUGHTER HIDES THE PAIN IN OUR HEARTS,
OUR SMILES WIPE AWAY THE TEARS THAT WE PART.
REST IN PEACE MOTHER, OUR LOVE, OUR LIFE,
WE’LL BE PRAYING FOR YOU EACH AND EVERY NIGHT.

Thank you for your kind words. I wrote this poem a long time ago. It was one of my first poems. I just read the poem again and it bought tears to my eye. I still miss her very much. Thank you for the memories

Tony....nice heartfelt poem....hope this is just poetic license, if not Im sorry for your loss.......You can re edit to remove the caps as well, just open poem and choose edit on the right....It will have much more impact and serenity if you change it........I enjoyed it all the same.....

Some editing would be nice...however, a heartfelt poem about the Mother you loved and taken well from this end. I am new at writing on this site, too! Am trying to see how to do it. Writing about a loss is a healing thing. When my Dad died, a card, I Corinthians 15, and my writing 3 poems about him healed my grief. Writing is cathartic. Keep it up. Good job. gail
