A laugh, a smile I give every day.
A portion of joy to share in a way.
Although it may seem I have twinkling eyes,
My true feelings are hidden way down deep inside.
Moments of Hallmark and Kodak I bring,
Although sad is the song that my heart must sing.
Outside I may seem as peaceful as a dove,
But darkness my heart has truely come to love.
Developing in darkness, just like a photograph,
Others, of me they see only half.
Eyes of love shatter inside,
Bringing my screams and tears that I've cried.
Although I cry, no one is there.
I know that no one truely cares.
And so in the dark I continue to live,
With fake Hallmark and Kodak moments to give.

Good
"But darkness my heart has truely come to love." this line needs work it doesn't flow. Your words poetically sum up the feelings that wander through most minds at times..smiling on the ouside while crying on the inside. A touching and revealing poem that reaches out and grabs your heart.
