I am the wanter, the begger, the taker,
I am the liar, the deceiver, the faker,
I am the believer, the worshiper, the prayer,
I am the shephard, the sheep, the slayer,
I am the lunatic, the disturbed, the insane,
I am the genius, the artist, the ordained,
Am I to follow, or am I to lead?
Am I to want, and desire, and need?
Can I truly live without anger and greed?
Or is it a part of my social breed?
You say there can only be one truth to be true,
If there is one then why can't there be two,
Why should I listen to what you tell me to do,
If someone is right, who says that someone is you?
I am the wealthy, the mighty, the high,
I am the meak, the quiet, the shy,
I am the player, the loser, the winner,
I am the heathen, the saint, the sinner,
I am the body the spirit the soul,
I am the individual, the society, the whole.
