Wind

Wind,
old friend,
old enemy,
I hear you.
Your howl is bestial.
Your clouds,
not yet black,roll.
You build patiently
until late afternoon.
At night
you grow calm,
then begin to rotate
& drop your funnel.

In so few words you painted the wind here... the enemy, the friend...I love the wind, especially storm winds and I could see him here.

Good to see you posting again!

      Where I've been...

I've been finishing a book of poetry--112 poems for a book to be called Fire & Snow.

I've been editing a novel, Journeys, that a palm reader suggested I needed to change.

I taught three classes last sememster, the first time in several years.

Other than those things, I've been lost...
