Wave your hand as you drive by,
that fat woman and her ugly child
and laugh when your tire hits that
grossly overlarge puddle of grit and oily water.
Are these the thoughts of your free mind?
What if you could hear
what the person standing next to you
or even the driver of that Mercedes Benz were thinking.
The chair rises with you when you stand
The kids poke fun of the way you speak
That skinny chick at the club dancing,
looks at you and that look crosses her face
as if to say, “why do you even bother showing your face
here when I am what everyone is looking at?”
The man with a lisp,
or the lady with the missing finger or two.
What are their stories, their struggles?
What do you think of the person standing next to you?
Are you laughing at them for something you don’t understand
or do you speak it aloud?
Either way, it’s your ignorance or inconsideration
for that someone who may save your life someday.
Ever think that maybe there is a reason
for them standing next to you on that particular occasion?
Think about it.

Wow, awesome write here, this is how I try to think. It's about compassion, understanding why people do the things they do and where they come from can help you make peace with the things they do and that it's not all about you. It's the old the bully is the one who is in trouble theory. Very true. I love this picture here, goes well. Really well written, flows and most importantly thought provoking.
