a dead boys scars,

Still leaving the
cadence of her last breath.
Echoed whispers,
softly into deaf ears.
"Bye bye beautiful!" he cries out.
Choking upon every word.
He finds himself
once again alone with
only the sound of goodbye.
"Bye bye beautiful!" again he cries.
How blind can you be,
don't you see?
Reaching....searching
for something untouched.
All within me gone
but pain and hope.
Alone in the dark;
the sun hides
a tear stained, darkened face.
All you love is a lie.
Rotten beauty
will haunt you for a lifetime.
Eyes so bright,
seductive lies;
casting crimson shadows
of death and darkness
deep into this
soul of innocence.
The scars;
once again have opened.
Red with blood
for the heart I once had.
In the end,
I will always love you.

This is inspired by the entire Nightwish album Dark Passion Play. After listening to it for a few days, I have used different titles and various lyrics as inspiration for this piece.
