Pray, Then Pray Some More

Missing image
Let the war of world be known what is invisible to the eyes,
Screams of all the casualties; horrid unheard cries.

To the heavens they cry for hope, salvation for their soul;
Forgiveness for inequities to free the evil hold.

Unaware when they lost the battle, taken like a thief in the night,
Unarmed souls unprepared; unable to win the fight.

Faith was weak, caught up in the world, unable to see the light,
Blindly they freely walked; denying their God given right.

The power of prayer, our sword our shield holds the might of God in our hands;
To trample over the enemy fulfilling Gods heavenly plans.

Scream to the heavens for souls that are lost, pray for the souls that can't see;
Our voices are one when we pray to the son, for all of the souls to be free.

Constant prayer is where our strength lies, power to open the door,
In darkness you fall, look to the light and pray; then pray some more.

Cries to heaven are not in vain, this we can be sure,
It may appear many battles lost, we will not lose this war.

GOD CREATED HUMANITY AND WITHIN HIM WAS PLACED A PURE ESSENCE (OUR SOUL), WHO WE ARE WE NEED TO BECOME COMPLETE PURE ESSENCE TO RETURN, WE NEED TO GROW!

    Hallelujah!

    YES YES YES! A poem about the HELLISH AGONY which sinners (and especially gay sex sinners, they are the worst although adulterous fornicators are nearly as bad) will SUFFER for all ETERNITY! Praise the Lord and fall down on your knees and GROVEL before the Great God in case he SMASHES you.

    Thank You

    My Dear Poet

    I would like to thank you for entering my contest and I do wish you only the best of luck...

    I do believe prayer is the only way...The more we talk to God the more He listens and I truly believe that we don't always see or hear His answer but it is there in the smallest thing...

    May God bless you

    Passionate!

    Hey Kathy...nice write! I can see that you my Pisces friend are very compassionate & needing to spend a bit more time in Bible Study 'cause I can see some "theological" difficulties. I can also see that your heart is in the right place & He knows that & I think that's wonderful. I've seen some lovely pieces that you've written with Him in mind & I wish we could sit & chat about Him. I'm sure conversation with you one on one would be a delight. I'm sure we've much in common, though I've left "the study of the stars" far behind [even though I did find it very interesting at one time!] Was I ever shocked when I found that Astrology is against what He stands for & what He desires from us! Later friend...diner time!

    Wonderful piece on prayer. Prayer is what we should do all the time, and yet we only do it when we are in trouble. When we finally learn that we should pray in everything our lives will really go some where.

    Prayer is powerful, when you become a prayer it is yet powerful, when you have faced the light face to face I think there is no need to fight. The battle is over when you look into the enemies eyes. Ask my sweet friend Chris, he is very wise.

    Darkness is a swamp of quicksand that persistently attempts to suck in all life. You have indicated our only passage of escape from it in this perceptive poem, that is a thing to remember when we find ourselves being taken in again. Thank you for creating and sharing this poem. Take care,

    Chris
