My Fishing Partner who hooked my bait,
Dad,
A person that made everything so great,
Dad,
Who I miss very dearly each and every day,
Dad,
Who made me feel special in every single way,
Dad,
The man who raised me up when he didn't have to,
Dad,
The very person who cheered me when I was blue,
Dad,
The person that I saw die in front of my own eyes,
Dad,
Died of lung cancer, each time I miss you I cry,
Dad,
Buried in the cemetary where now we have our talks,
Dad,
I miss you being and having our daily walks,
Dad,
No longer will you be there to fish & carry on,
Dad,
Without you here, I can't believe you're gone.

This is an absolutely beautiful tribute to your dad. WONDERFUL SARA DAWN. I miss my rooting section too. I miss my dad and I going to Dixie House for two hour lunches having a House Salad, a glass of tea, Irish Coffee, and another beverage while we talked about this that and the other. Thank you for reminding me of this with this poem. You are blessing with your flair for poetic style. Your dad I'm surely is smiling ear to ear in heaven and bragging to all his angel buddies up there, "Hey look at what my Earth Angel Sara Dawn wrote for me!" Other angels who don't have any earth angels here now are probably saying....Oh...what's going on there now anyway as I don't have anybody to looki in on now. I thought I'd be happy when everybody was up here with me but I kind of miss that old world."
Amen it does seem like yesterday and I still miss my dad because he was my rooting section and I, too, was a Daddy's girl. -
I have no idea how hard that must have been for you, but I do know that you are SUCH a strong girl, and your Dad is SO proud of you. Remember that he is with you always, by your side, through everything.

I lost a dear man last month, it was so hard to bear! My husband's uncle he really cared. He loved fishing and hunting more than the rest, and we watched him die, was it a test?
I hope you know your dad is watching you from above, so you shouldn't be missing all his love, it's there, yes inside, he'll be with oyu for all through your life.
