A dream of you

sitting on the beach
watching the water roll in
the sun sets in my eyes
another lonely day i cry
hoping to be held by you
a cheek my tear runs down from my eye
as bright purple and orange fill the sky
black consumes my vision
i fall to sleep
the most blissful dream
you were there you looked at me
fire of love is in your eyes
a blade comes down from above
i drew my sword as instinct would say
and blocked the blow
you spun in a blink and reached for his throat
agony filled his screem as the life drained from his face
i glanced at her face of emotionless torment
she dropped the corpes and fell herself in despair
on her knees fingers run through sand
my heart stops and time freezes
cold consumes me
water and sand slowly cover my body in numbness
fog clouds and i no longer feel
warm hands touch my arm and shift my body
these tears on my face they are not mine
my eyes open a crack shes here
crying on me
i give a smirk she notices im awake
i almost died alone but she saved me
stay forever
