Peanut Butter Meets Jelly

One day in a grocery store,
Peanut Butter met Jelly.
They were both put in a cart,
By a little boy rubbing his belly.

He said "I love PB and J!"
And he went to the counter to buy.
That's when Peanut Butter and Jelly,
First looked into each other's eyes.

Jelly batted her lashes,
and gave a flirty smile.
Peanut Butter's heart melted,
As they were carried down the grocery isle.

"I have never seen a Jelly,
As beautiful as you!"
Peanut Butter sighed with love,
And Jelly lovingly sighed too.

Then, inside the shopping bag,
The two of them made a vow.
They promised to be eaten together,
No matter who ate them, or how.

They signed their names on the bag,
Inside a little heart.
It said PB and J forever,
Never to be seen apart.

They lived happilly ever after,
(Until they were eaten, of course.)
But even in someone's stomach,
They will NEVER EVER get a divorce.

    ...PB&J bores me...to cliche...
    >_<
I don't mean to sound offensive, please don't take it to heart.

for your age i seem to be a bit disappointed not saying this is a terrible poem though i dont feel touched or finding it deep in not very many ways

the poem in my opinion seems a bit childish for your age an a bit over rated

how you got these trophies?i will never know.

yes i seem like a 12 year old grouch or bully though i speak my mind i see you disagree however you wont much change my opinion.

well its an opinion and you cant judge me for that

though my opinion does seem a bit too rude because we are all at different levels of writing and reading aswell as true understanding of time space an the utter life we hold.

The contest specifically said "deep"...It's cute, but...the age does say you're 12.
I kinda expected as much for an 8-year old. But see? People expect us to write kiddy poems.
Poems are much different than stories.
          Poems come from the heart.
Anyway, I understand if you were just bored, and no doubt this was prompted by that Peanut Butter Contest. So yeah.

One of the CUTEST and most DARLING poems I've ever read!

A masterpiece poem featuring peanut butter and jelly, our two star players! Every line and all dialog is delightful and I congratulate you for penning something so profoundly splendid.
