It was the classic heart in my throat,
Stopped in my tracks,
First glance
That turned into almost an eternity
Wrapped within your gaze.
I didn't care the glass was overflowing,
Vodka over my skin
And the bemused expression of the man watching;
It didn't matter in those seconds
That I became yours, just for a moment,
That I gave myself up to your
Overwhelming presence.
Then I was alone again behind the bar
With the mess of a ruined drink
And a verbal warning
For being distracted by beautiful women.

Cute
I like this alot. First glaces are amazing. For a moment you sort of forget about all the things that are going on. Very movie-esque. You had perfect imagery. Great job. Keep writing. -

This made me laugh, that's for sure. It's funny how one glance can seem like love at first site, when, in reality, it's nothing but shallow attraction. thx for entering!
