Just taking a moment,
to stop and pause.
Reflecting upon
the blessings of my life.
Thanking God for this beautiful gift,
the union of love.
His healing touch, loins that join mine;
in our rhythmic dance upon which we
feast.
Renewing our strength, releasing our breath,
bathing in the freedom of our bodies.
Entwined and in hunger for each other.
Fluid moments of tender relief.
I bask in his scent,
breathe in his masculine strength.
In his eyes I am reflected,
in awe and at peace, fed.
Sighing with pleasure my spirit sings.
"What a beautiful man you have treasured me.
Thankyou father god,
for giving me the best of blessings in him."
My soul exhales,
with his touch still warm upon my lips,
heart, body and spirit.
Amen and Ahhhmen.

Joyce
the ending was brilliant
I really like the picture - it is unusual to see pretty pictures like that where the lady is wearing glasses! But the poem was just as (if not more) beautiful and I'm glad I had the chance to read it
