Curiosity sends a wish into the infinite sky
Intention calls forth and we can only realize
That the window down the hall leads to the fall
Of the beacon in the night that shines for us all
The lonely sinner prostrates and pays his final debt
For his defamation of the most holy vignette
Innocence is all the rage as the choir sings praise
Until the passing of the terminal page
And it claims to be completely free of guilt
As it bends the laws that it earnestly rebuilt
Suspicion and abominations free to abound
And protesters lay still without a sound
New practices and strange new rules
Meant only to quiet the febrile fools
A world of lust and paramour
Leading to engaged world war
Loss of hope and reasons why
Freedom to live is dominated by
Even Pangloss would be happy to hear
The best of all worlds remains ever austere

This actually rhymes AND flows AND delivers a message. Not many can do all three at the same time. This is pretty good actually... very melodic and poignant in its meaning. The only thing I'm not sure about is the line "And protesters are silent without a sound". "silent without the sound" is redundant, I think it might improve your poem should you choose to keep only "silent" or "without the sound" and use the rest of the syllables to show how powerless the protesters are. Nicely done.
Now, about my experiment - I don't think you were on the list of "subjects", were you?
Thank you very much for entering my contest.
