My Little Secret

A finger down my throat
A hand pulling back hair
A dose of Listerine nearby
So no one will find out

An on-the-spot excuse
A stomachache, I say
A Rolaid, just for good measure
And nobody finds out.

Written spur-of-the-moment so I don't care if it sucks.

      Thanks.
Since the writing of this poem, I became full-force bulimic. But I'm recovering. I haven't purged since the day after Easter.

Well, I'm working on it, at least. I purged again last night, but hey, it's better than it used to be.

Coming from someone who has been there, it's a strong and difficul issue to deal with. I hope in the near future your strong spirit over powers it! From your writing I can tell you are a strong woman. This is a powerful short to the point and sad read. My heart goes out to you, from one recovered bulemic to a sufferer.
