Use it to the fullest

And ignore the ones who don't like the way you are.
Being here is a short treat,
So make it be the greatest one.
Every second of your life is precious!
But don't realize that when it'll be late.
See it now,
Today.
Smile with the birth of every morning
Sing with the shine of every star
Dreams may only be in your mind,
But only a great person will make them reality.

So true, many people just rush through the younger years when those are the most carefree. I wish I could go back to be 7, where all you had to worry about was getting to bed on time. Very well written poem.

. I like the poem as well; line five is a little awkward but maybe that's just me. I like the optimism, though - makes me want to go out and live. Maybe I will.
