'Open Tampered Dreams'
I hear the echo of the breeze
The stampede of the wild horses near
As the golden crimson sun
Bends its way across the land
Reaching far to see
The wisdom of the trees
Holding sacred of their destines
Glistening emeralds into the stream
Where sets of eyes happily recede
And the streams begin to share
The stories of wisdom of centuries.

looks like it may take awhile Choosing three top poems out of so many good poems is going to be difficult. I am reading over ALL the entries several times and will continue to do so, please bear with me :) thanks

Just a quick note to start and you probably have already done this 2007....are many of us guilty of doing the same.
I like you imagery that you paint and your take on the prompt. If only we had the wisdom of the ages as seen by those trees and knowledge of those will live in harmony.
Good luck in the contest.
