We did a lot together.
We did the things that lovers do
- we walked hand in hand
- we waltzed in the streets
We did the things that are fun to do
- we kissed under pohutakawa by the beach
- we were nudists by mountain streams
We did the things you shouldn't do
- we popped our zits and
- made love on empty graves
And while we surfed our dreams
we smiled and laughed and
loved.
It was all very ordinary
our ordinary little love.

Yeah I never liked the fakeness in description either, for me real love is what I have, what my parents and grandparents have, story love is nice for a little while but if that was there all day every day I would feel smothered.
