Vampire - gentleman or cad?

Are you afraid as he approaches in the night?

Or does your fear start when he takes that first bite?

Did he tell you your blood is his driving desire?

Or did you believe in his charms of passion and fire?

Did you trust this suave gentleman of the dark?

Did you not wonder why he left before the song of the lark?

Did your heart beat faster as on your neck he does suck?

This man of elegance and class, was it just luck?

Did his ways of sophistication set you aflame?

Or did you think he was a wild creature to tame?

Your life blood he takes leading you to the funeral pyre,

So he can be immortal, with his kiss of a vampire.

Author notes

I have tried to capture the dual image of the gentleman vampire with hidden blood lust. A man of sophistication yet with evil intent.

    you know, i often ask myself those questions if vampires were real, what would i think of them? would i be entranced? find them sexy? i don't know! great depiction of my thoughts!

      I don't see why a vampire shouldn't be sexy, I don't know there is a certain enchantment about sharing blood thats macabre but deeply erotic
