The driving force
behind the words
of love, I speak.
My heart writes
them for you.
My words shared
with the world.
Many come together,
captivated by how
I show magnificence
in love.
My wonderful loving man.
How could I not shout?
To the world,
just how happy
and special
you make me feel.
I have walked a path
with you now
for a while,
and this new year
gives me exciting chills
as to what the
future can continue
to hold for us.

Inspired by the song No one by Alicia Keys and incorporated with how I feel about my fiancé, there is no-one like him. He is, in other words uniquely mine. He's my muse, my inspiration, I write so many poems for him and I know I shall continue too

This is such a sweet poem and best of luck to you and your future husband. I really love Alicia Keys myself, i think she is an outstanding poet. This poem definately demonstrated your muse and why. Good job! Unfortunately....and please dont take offense, I have to be honest, it doesn't really stand out, or have that kick in the heart I'm looking for. I can understand and emphasize your feelings, but I want to feel it myself, as if I were you. I'm sorry, but this poem did not do that for me! Overall, I feel it is a very heartfelt poem and I think you should read it aloud to your husband at the wedding. It may not have stood out to me, but I know it will stand out for him...and thats what matters!! Thanks for entering!

I don't take offense at all, I respect that you have explained etc. As many don't. I am glad as a love poem you enjoyed it and I read it to me my man last night and well of course he loved it
