As much as I love the holidays, sometimes the food people try to shove down your throat can really get to you. I've kinda gotten to a point in my life where I've decided it's okay to disappoint people by saying I don't want to eat their food rather than having to deal with eating something I don't want to eat or eating more food than I feel comfortable with.

Wow this is interesting. I think you explained too much on your atuhor's notes and not enough in your poem though. The poem should be the main part and the autors notes is the quick add ins that maybe explain but not too much. It's still a great poem though, just needs a little work
