Holding my breath
Above water
But somehow already immersed
The silence is there
But it's wrong
Not perfect
As if someone fell asleep
But left the radio on
I'm drowning already
But it's an idle attempt
Cause it won't really last
[The universe has a funny way
Of keeping me alive
Against my strongest, iron will]
&& Now I remember,
Now I know how his gaze
Can melt a solid will,
Into molten lava,
Licking at forgotten bones.
&& Now I can recall,
Now I see through his eyes
Why his touch is like a god's.
It's this awful, celestial beauty;
He is the universe.
I can finally see it clearly
The silence is imperfect
Because of the voices in my head
There are whispers
Of my own misunderstandings
And short-comings
They'll never ever tell me
That's it's all alright
It's so obvious now
So plain for everyone to see
That I never had anything worth looking at
[It's all just something
Something the universe thought up
As a joke- at my final expense]

I just want a damn comment.
You know why I stopped writing?
Cause everyone stopped responding.

I liked the title most, I thought it was creative.
However that demanding at the end wasn't quite needed.
If I were you and got a comment after that, I would think it was forced. Which would make me enjoy the comment less.
But here's a comment anyways.

Thanks... I guess.
I wouldn't have really called it a demand, it was a joke, but whatever.
My dry humour isn't always the most obvious.

ok, ok, i am commenting. this is most interesting write, holding breath above water, drowning and yet alive. you shopuld keep writing for youerself, for at times no one responds. we have to review others, and then they review us. have to play the game.

thats the way its done.
