This love you hold me captive in
My lips cannot spill the words I need to express
My eyes cannot meet yours without looking away
My body trembles at your touch.
So I will paint my soul for you.
Crimson soaring through orange
A sunset on fire meets the heart
These minute patterns,
the passion you have staind on my heart.
I etch your name next to mine
in the language of infatuation.
I pray when your eyes lay eyes on this
you will read my soul with yours.
For my body fails me
but my heart is strong.

Typo: "the passion you have staind on my heart" staind to stained.
Another great write and worth a read. Your poem's tone brings out the feeling that the writer is growing weak, and yet the emotions are fiery and strong. Like the ending says, the heart is just that... Beautiful.
