Screaming hell and brimstone for me,
I hear you
And I break free,
You mean nothing to me,
Not now,
And you'll never be,
I know that you're trying to save me,
But save me from what?
You preach your hatred and that people like me are a disease,
That there is something 'wrong' with us,
We're unholy and undeserved of love,
And that we need to be fixed,
But I'm taking a stand now,
I swear,
No matter what it takes,
No matter how many times I break,
I swear I'll defeat you,
I'll bring you down,
You can try to stop me,
You can try to beat me,
But I swear to you,
That I will see my hatred for this through!
You've slapped me across the face with your bitter lies,
But I promise you,
I'll come after you,
In a sad, uncaring, miserable disguise,
I swear on my life,
I'll come for you,
And I'll bring you down,
I'll bring you down,
I'll bring you down.
Author notes
Burning The Book
It is about how the over-religious people call people such as I (the gay people) 'wrong' or 'a disease' or that they can 'fix' us. When you try to fix something that isn't broken you either get something worse then before or these people that go in there repress their feelings, because of their guilt. There is no cure for something that isn't a disease. It is also about getting revenge against these people that say this sort of crap, that isn't true.

Remember this; The Hypocrites suffer the worst of God's wrath, don't give up on God, But do give up on religion.

pasha you do have a point, I agree with you there. But it's hard to just ignore something that seems to want to hurt you. But I totally understand where you're coming from and you're point. Thanks for the comment!

Do we rally need to revenge ourselves against these people? Do we need to persuade them to see things differently? That is, persuade them that it's not 'wrong' or 'a disease' and doesn't need to be 'fixed'? Shouldn't we just ignore them and live life amongst people who don't consider it 'wrong' or 'a disease' or something that needs to be 'fixed'? By taking them seriously, aren't we implying that their absurd position deserves some regard?
