Cats are kings of all the houses.
They rule over dogs,birds and mouses.
And if anyone gets out of line,
They'll deliver a scratch, a definate sign.
But when they get tired and need a bed,
They trot off to their humans to rest their heads.
Then they jump on their human's lap,
And settle in for a little nap.
When the human gives in and starts stroking their fur,
A little rumble comes, a gentle purr.
Cats have two sides, feirce and sweet.
Terror to mice, but to humans, a treat!

A cute write. I have 2 cats named Maggie and Smokey. I love cats so much. -

I like the first two lines very much, they announce a lot of fun: and your little poem delivers on it! My wife loves cats and we've spent a lot of time observing them. the query often crosses my mind as to how they view us.I like the way you speak of us as "their humans",putting us somehow into the pussy cat's frame of mind.

This was a pleasure to read, and rhymed as well - in my book, those are two hallmarks of an excellent poem. Couple of misspells were the only distraction.
