It always gets to taste things first
especially yummy desserts
chocolate fudge and sundaes too
into my mouth, it clears the blues.
Winter soups that warm the heart
at least it's scalded at the start
allowing me to sip and taste
it's curves will not allow any waste.
The easiest eating tool I think
from sloppy soup to ice cream pink
don't underestimate the humble spoon
with two of them you can play a tune!
