My God as I look upon what your hands have formed,
sitting here contemplating my life, how I've performed.
I just pray you are exceptionally happy with me,
trying so hard in life to be whom you've created me to be.
The struggles of just abiding in this life down here,
while I ponder your beauty so exquisite it appears.
Exceptional peace of mind overcomes with pleasure,
tranquility, serenity, one with you is a treasure.
Beauty to behold is when I'm just alone here with you,
full of gratitude to feel your presence with me too.
Thank you Lord for these moments, like this we share,
there is nothing in this life that I can even compare.
As the quite still waters sparkle with glistening sun,
I feel free as a child to play here in nature with fun.
free with wings to fly upon the mountains on high,
feelings overcoming with freedom of love and sighs.
Fragrance of nature the relief of fresh air you share,
cleansing my soul, heart and mind with unconditional care.
Thank you for letting me see how you are here with me,
refreshing me today with the gifts you've given me to see.
Just wanting to stay in this breath taking wondrous place,
dreaming, experiencing emotional balance, with having some space.
Clouds a drift in your beauty of skies, leaving behind my fears,
your hand upon my face, wiping away every single tear.
The breeze flows through the trees bringing kisses upon my face,
life here on earth is no longer some sort of race.
At peace now in the depths of my heart, with you I make a new start,
thank you Lord for bringing me here, with you I can always take part!

This is a very good write I enjoyed the feelings put into the words , very genuine write. Seems to be missing some punctuation and it is not necessary to capitalize each line of the poem, still a very good write. Choosing three top poems out of so many good poems is going to be difficult. I am reading over ALL the entries several times and will continue to do so, looks like it may take awhile please bear with me :) thanks

I feel the realization of peace and calm from within that you give you strength and guide you through whatever life throws up. An inspirational message for living it reflects the serenity of the picture. This is well crafted poem and a nice take on the prompt. good luck in all contests.

I clicked on this one thinking it was a new poem and I have commented on it before but didnt want you to lose points so great work honey great work -
I enjoyed the flow of this poem. Your rhyming style is very similar to mine, which is refreshing to see. I am very particular about keeping in form when writing a piece meant to rhyme. Overall, very good... it captured my attention.

I could feel the peace permeating my very soul and the traquilty was overwhelming. I felt like I was there is the presence watching mental communication between you and God as You have come to terms with what life has dealt but knowwing he has been there with you all the way through always ready to give a new start. This was just beautiful and God's majestic hand has created wonderous beauties in all forms and all seasons for us to behold and enjoy.
