The Sound of One Hand Clapping

Tears, heart aches and regrets; these are the patterns of a sole with sign left to rent.
Fears, pain and silly men; this is the life you never meant.

Heart washed up against the sorrow shore.
Torn, wreaked, hopes face a sea of scorn.

On treacherous waters you let your heart sail.
Direction less, rudderless doomed to fail.

But I know your story is unwritten your book unread.
Some path your find with golden thread.

I can't see the future, I know its not there.
Anything, everything be brave to dare.

Take my hand we can see through together.
You and I dancing forever.

Why must I insist on chasing the same women off and on for nearly ten years?

    Welcome to AP

This is a very interesting way to put it, I love the images here. Keep writing, that sometimes helps. I'm not sure how to answer your question, but I definitely relate to it. Best wishes

Because women are awesome, and the ones you're chasing are exceptionally so?

Good poem, nonetheless - sorry I can't cure you're heartache.
