Ballroom under the stars

The night sky twinkles
With gleaming bright stars
That dances with the melody
Of the music played

I’m dressed in a glittered
White dinner dress
Shining with beauty
Embracing the slow music

As he twirls me in circles
With the stars watching us
I get myself wrapped in his arms
Feeling protected and safe

We danced all night with passion
Held by his tender arms
Just the two of us in the open space
Having ballroom under the stars

    What an awesome poem!! It was romantic yet without going too far off. It stuck to the pormpt but was just wonderful. I almost wished I were that girl.

    what a beautiful contrast. simply stunning imagery as well. though you did not win, I really loved this poem.
