Pink magenta petals open
into the realm of woman
exterior of labia open into
the realm of woman flower
flowering forth from
flower garden in an unseen womandom.
How did this blossoming begin?
Was it rain and light and spring
that caused this bursting into full
bloom?
The petals have their own rapture
their own rhythm
mandala spin the space they occupy
mandala spin the realm of womb and woman
into the exterior by
the realm of interior they have spun from
that has pivoted its energy out into each cell of
each petal.

thank you for your entry and your wonderful reaction to the prompt picture. You have seen truly what was there, and when you read the contest notes you will see how clear your vision is. A good poem, I am glad you saw the mandala. Your words move with elegance and sparse simplicity to describe the movement you saw. My favourite parts / the petals have their own rapture/ and /mandala spin the realm of womb and woman/

Wow this is sooo beautiful. Very delicate and feminine and very tasteful and elegant! I love it.
