Have you ever seen a Harvest Moon
On a late October night
Did you ever sing a lovely tune
Under the Harvest Moon so bright
Ever walk hand in hand
With someone you love so dear
All around this great big land
Others share in the Moon so near
It is a special time of year
When lovers old and new
Gather around in circles of cheer
And sing a chorus or two
It's never too late to sit and look
Up at the Harvest Moon so high
Think of all the time it took
To make the man in the Moon wink his eye

This poem has a pleasant melodic flow and I like the image of a Harvest Moon on a late October night. This poem does have potential and it reads easily.
Regarding my experiment... I don't think you were one of the special invitees were you? And, just to clarify, this wasn't an invite-only contest and I'm glad that you entered, whether or not you were a special invitee. Many people didn't get this, but thanks a lot for your entry!
