I want to see her again
Just once
Just long enough for her scent to fill the air
so I can breathe
old memories.
I want just enough time for her smile
to stain my vision with one moment
of pure
happiness.
Long enough for the color of her skin
to paint hope through my
dark skies
I want to watch her dancing
and
see her lips pucker the same way mine do when
I dance
I want her to flash me one more smile to blind
my pain
I want to simply tell her
I
Love
You..... just one more time.....

Very nice
We all have feelings like this for some reason or another. Mine is called, "And I Think You Did Too" Loss of a loved one is hard to understand, but we have the memories till we meet again. As I said before...she smiles down at you! Love and kisses, The Shaker

Thank you my sweet friend, you are right in that we must hold the memories, one more time would still never satisfy us......

a very well written, heartfelt piece my dear. I can understand those types of feelings. makes me think of my brother i lost. we never got the chance to hang out together as adults because he died when we were in high school. i often wish he was here now so we could hang out just one time. thanks for stirring up my emotions with this great piece.

thank you for reading. My friends comment below is true though in that we wish for one more chance, but if we got it it would probably still not be satifying... we would still want one more.

I feel this way about my best friend who I lost on Christmas Day on 06... if just for one more moment but Layne, once that moment was over, would we just not wish for one more.... and one more....
We have to hold tight to all those things you have described....
