I took your hand
Rushing blood into my veins
as we waltzed under the rain
a rain of streaming lights
of Italian delights
I took your hand
In dance, in turn, in sway
I watched us slide away
away into the dreams
in-between the story's seams
I took your hand.
and upon the midnight hour
after the brilliant shower
A new years celebration
back in Venice for my love
So I waltz with you tonight my dearest
and givest to you my love
Author notes
option one, and this poem is Dedicated to my special someone, who unlike me (25% Italian) is full blooded Italian so i put the theme in Venice (^.^)

This made me smile. I think to dance with another person is one of the most romantic things to do in the world... it's right up there with sex!
This was fabulous. From one Italian to another, I thank you for entering.
