plaster my face,

i'm a worthless teenager,
who doesn't know what to do.
so i let you control,
what i wear,what i say.
so i can grow up,
to what you are today.
a boring adult,
living for money.
saying words that seem fake,
sticky like honey.

so you'll be proud of me,
who cares if i'm sad,
cause thats how its gotta be.
i'll dance like a puppet,
you controll my strings.
i'll think nothing of smiles,
just material things.
i look up at you,
and i listen as you tell
