In the vernacular it has been said,
"Everything is everything"
Which exhorts us to pay attention on every level -
no matter what we do or happens
The colors of a wheel point in many directions
and you have to substitute, knowing what to avoid
Like the man getting up and stealing from you while
you walk away from the table
The orientation of the wheel is no accident
It forces things to happen a certain way,
but in the morning we choose this way or that
Pointed upward it is pronounced as an absolute,
such that "one is everything" or "everything is one"
But we say "everything is everything" to be peaceful
A sign of hope - pulling up the the color purple
It tugs at the outer extremities,
making sense out of the current state of affairs

great work
power to the purple! this rocks. it is very indepth (duh? is that a word?) i guess perhaps a better choice of words would be multidimensional. love it! i always hope for a better tomorrow and try to have a positive mind set as each day begins, but it doesn't always happen that way. but i try..

thank you for this entry. At first read I was a little confused, trying to sense how the prompt had inspired this from you. I reread, and spoke it aloud, and in the accented rhythm of the spoken word I found what you were showing me. /the orientation of the wheel is no accident/ is a profound thought. I loved /pulling up the color purple/ Thank you for taking the time to present your poem so well, also.
