i am the beautiful curse
everything i touch
i damage
i can't keep anything alive
or watch it grow
it always fades away
i hurt the people
i care about most
i can't stop this agony
i vow to not let anyone
get close to me
for fear that i might
steal their life away
i need someone here
to contradict my
beautiful contridiction
this beautiful curse
i have become
is slowly taking me under
this curse is undying
never ending
it will linger inside me
long after i am gone
no one should have to
endure this pain
this torture
all i wanted was
compassion and
understanding
yet, this is what
i have been given
