An Angel in My Heart

I have found something in you I've
Needed for quite some time.  A soul's
Treasure you've been on some of my most
Anguished moments.  Your spirit just seems to
Nudge me up when I feel as though I've fallen.
Gentle words and laughter, turning emotional
Lows to a smile of grandeur.  For your wings,
I'm eternally greatful; somehow feeling sheltered within them
Opened me to more than what is on the horizon, like
2 ships passing by on an endless ocean, where your
Romantic spark and wit have captivated more than
I know how to express.  You've touched my heart,
Now and always, and I only hope some day, I can
Give back half of what you've given to me.



You have lifted me up so many times, when I've been down.
Made me feel so much more than I do with poems you've written for me and I wanted to express, best I can at the moment, how you have been more than just an angel to me, but someone I will treasure and cherish always.  Thank you!!
