All That I've Got

Looking out in the distance,
knowing that you're right here,
the raindrops, falling upon my face
I know I have nothing to fear

But even as you take me in your arms,
and kiss away the pain I hide
something's pulling me back into oblivion
feeling as though, I'm in for a rough ride.

But I know that I shouldn't worry,
I see the way you look at me
but then I see her and my eyes decieve
because jealousy is overtaking me.

The clouds above, deep purple and red
overshadow the happiness I feel
because I know you love me,
but her picture just makes everything so real

I feel so vulnerable, so lost in space
but I know my soul will complete once more
the moment I hear your soothing voice
I just have to wait, and stand on stable floor

We are strong, we are fierce,
so I need to stop worrying so much
because I know you love me and all that I am
I can wait a few more days to feel your touch

    wow this is an amazing write. it is definetley relatable the feelings and emotions i can tell that they are real and as you read this peice you can feel the emotion and thats all you can hope for in a poem and this peice defintely has it wow i love it everything about it great job
    wow this is my faviorite lines

    i love this because it packs so much emotion in to simple lines and i love the mesage it conveys
