The Author

The creator and author, of my soul,
knew just what to do when He composed me.
He penned my name on a heavenly scroll
and gave me a life in His fantasy.

From His finger tip, dripped the ink of life,
He drew in the fish and sketched in the birds.
He gave me free will to avoid any strife
and gave me a mind to write my own words.

This fantasy world that gives me so much,
with colors to see and flowers to smell;
all came from His hand with a gentle touch.
A perfect world from His magical spell.

Composed by the finger of God above
I’m here in this world to give you my love.

Congrats on the gold... it is always so refreshing to see a person with such Faith in something... pure. As long as it keeps them going on for the good of mankind and what not, I find it an admirable quality to have such reassurance in religion. Thank you for this gorgeous entry and good luck.

    fascinating!

It seems every word that flows from your fingertips is dipped in 24k gold and plated in other-worldly beauty.
This poem has the effect of a fairy tale - it draws the reader into the lovely little universe it created.
    I love your rhyme scheme.
I've said before and I'll say it a hundred times more: you're the best rhymer and form poet in existence.

One of the best of yours that I have read yet. Structure and form are a perfect match for what you wish to say...and that comes through beautifully. Excellent in every respect.
