so many people
come and go
some are like chatter;
seemingly interesting
but lead to nothing
while others
are just like you
they are like the melody
to words,
a rainbow
to the sky
and romance in the rain
they make you
want to laugh
and love the world
a smile comes easily
even if
nothing's going right
a warm hug
to tell you
how much you mean
insisting to communicate
however possible
no one else really matters
they also make you realize
not everyone
needs to be your friend
just because your friend
and someone else is
but above all
they make you realize
how much you mean to someone
and you truly are
a best friend
