Vision stripped from my world.
Engulfed within the dark of night.
Clearly painted upon my face.
Terror struck by lack of sight.
Mind racing, has my moment come?
Securely bound from thoughts of escape.
Distant whispers inaudible from my ears.
As beads of fear caress my nape.
Fierce footsteps now approach.
Swallow hard, conceal my fear.
Breathing speeds, stomach churns.
Say goodbye, final line I hear.

What a mind you have there... I love this. Such a dark and fearsome tale you crafted here, showing the terror of the sound. Being blind in a world with the sound following you... I found this piece very inspirational, and it can be read and understood in several different ways, which itself gives this piece even more depth.
Wonderful work with this one!
